Gibson Mpho Kariko

Gibson Mpho Kariko is a Mechanical Engineer by profession, who began his professional career at Bela Bela Quarry in the late 2000s.

He has also worked for Bothakga Burrows Botswana, the largest consulting firm in Botswana, and Leretlwa Construction and Mining during the Cut 8 project in Jwaneng Mine. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Botswana (FET) and currently holds an executive position at SICE BOTSWANA, a Spanish-Botswana based company, where he is involved in delivering a Smart City project in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Communication.

Additionally, he is a lobbyist with Canadian Laurentia LLC and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Alturas Geophysics. Based in Gaborone, he has an extensive network of contacts within the political and business leadership circles.
