NOTTINGHAM ESTATE
Nottingham Estate is a privately owned citrus estate located on the banks of the Limpopo River in Zimbabwe.
With a rich family history going back to 1953, the primary business is to produce quality fruit for export, local consumption & juicing. The secondary focus is eco-tourism and hospitality
Nottingham exports quality citrus of export, local consumption and juicing, which evidently requires electricity. The focus of LNG from Canadian Laurentia will be used to complement the 1500KW Nottingham Estate Solar Power Station for electricity needed to produce the citrus.
On top of the Citrus Farm, Nottingham is also in the hospitality industry with three offerings:
- Kuduland Lodge: 6 air conditioned chalets, sleeping two people in each and our new side, built at the beginning of the 2015, has five barrocs, sleeping four people in each. Each side has their own pool with glorious views of the river. Meals are served in our lapa or under the Nyala tree.
- Fishing Retreat: 7 air-conditioned chalets with air-con overlooking the dam. From your own patio, you are able to enjoy watching the many bird species and wildlife on the waters edge. Each chalet has a king bed and two three quarters, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower.
- Fly Camp: The pulp from the juicing factory gets returned to the Fly Camp to feed elephants and other animcals created an entertainment area to watch animals
